The Gunna Show ("we," "us," or "our") operates gunnashow.com and the Gunna Show mobile application (together, the "Service"). This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Account information. When you create an account we store your email address, display name, a securely hashed password, an optional profile picture, and (if you sign in with Google) your Google profile picture URL. We never store your Google password.
Usage & activity data. To understand how the Service is used and to improve it, we collect first-party analytics about activity on the Service, including: pages you visit, which battles you view, votes you cast, and interactions with ads. When you are signed in, some of this activity is associated with your account; when you are not, it is associated only with a random visitor identifier (see Cookies). We also record standard request information such as approximate time, page path, and browser type.
Content you submit. Messages you post in community or battle chat, direct messages, votes, and any images you upload are stored so the Service can function.
We use a small number of first-party cookies: essential cookies for sign-in, session, and security (anti-forgery); and a first-party analytics cookie ("vid") containing a random identifier we use to count unique visitors and measure engagement. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Ads on the Service are sold and served by us directly — simple banner images that link to an advertiser's site. We do not use Google AdSense or any third-party ad network, and we do not allow third parties to track you across other websites for advertising. We count ad impressions and clicks for our own reporting so we can tell advertisers how their ads performed; a click records that an ad was clicked (and, if you are signed in, that your account clicked it) before sending you to the advertiser's URL.
We use the information above to operate and secure the Service, run your account and chat/DM features, tally votes and battle results, measure traffic and engagement, report ad performance to advertisers, and improve the show.
Hosting & database. The Service runs on our own server and PostgreSQL database. Google Sign-In is used only if you choose it, to authenticate you. YouTube videos may be embedded on battle highlight pages; when you play one, YouTube may set its own cookies under Google's privacy policy. We do not sell your personal information.
We keep account and activity data for as long as your account is active or as needed to operate the Service. You can clear the analytics cookie in your browser at any time, and you can request that we delete your account and associated data by contacting us.
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
